I have a bunch of bags of primer A and mortar and plaster C KC lying around that have become ~3 years old (indoors, dry).
What happens to the mortar when it passes the "best before" date?
On coarse concrete I used a while ago, it said that the chromate reduction was only active in the Portland cement for 12 months and that you should not use it after that, but I can't find this information on Finja's packaging.

The micro-burnt binder using regular humidity. So after 3 years, it is mostly just ballast (sand) left.
A bag that is wrapped in plastic and carefully taped lasts for 12 months, then we usually throw them away.
So the strength in the mortar is gone.

Thanks for the info, then it will be ÅVC instead.
