I am going to build a deck with a roof made of corrugated plastic type halleplattan.
Under these are lathes of 45x70.
I would like to make a hip roof, the problem is finding suitable dimensions for the two sloped ridge beams and the remaining joists.
The measurements are 6.2x 4 m and the longer dimension is against the house gable, so no snow sliding down. Snow zone 2.5
Grateful if someone can calculate that.

Hi!
To be able to help you with the dimensions of the ridge beams, can you provide a sketch or more measurements of the load-bearing?

Hello
The ridge beams will rest on supports in the frame as well as on an lt135x140 in each outer corner.
There will be similar posts approximately 2m apart.
I am also thinking of a bearer around with double 45x145.//Pär

The ridge beams will be about 5m long.

Hand-drawn graph on lined paper with a triangle inside a grid, marked with 6.2, 4, and approximately 5.

The measurements are therefore the bärlina's yk and not the roof.

What is your roof pitch?

About 8 degrees
