What are these boards?

I have a bunch of panels glued to the ceiling. I think they are panels to dampen sound but I'm not completely sure, other than they actually seem to work for that purpose. However, I haven't seen such panels before and it's a bit inconvenient that they are glued, I need to replace 2 of them.

Looks like Ecophon, i.e., glass wool tile.

Does anyone know where to find black records at a reasonable price? 7000:- incl VAT for 20sqm is quite expensive!
