Hi,

As I understand it, the weather is quite critical when casting; if it's sunny, you should cover it, and if it pours rain, you also have to cover it because otherwise, the concrete mixes and you get an uneven surface.

How does it work if it possibly rains a little (dark clouds according to SMHI) today when we're going to cast and rains a bit more tomorrow?

This will be cast with finbetong:

Cover with plastic and keep the surface moist initially regardless of the weather. The concrete will be best if the water does not evaporate.

If it rains a little, it's optimal weather.
Then you shouldn't cover the surface, a little rain adds good moisture.

Then it's just a matter of post-processing to achieve the desired surface as usual. Riva glätta, etc.

It is only during the first 2-3 hours that it is sensitive to rain marks. After that, it is walkable.
Water at regular intervals and keep it covered with plastic but do not place the plastic directly against the concrete until it is completely hard (scratch with a stick or nail to notice when the surface has hardened).
