Wardrobe construction - Choice of materials?
How tall will it be and how do you plan to dress it? Not at all, paint, wallpaper, wood paneling...?
We built our sloped ceiling wardrobes like all other interior walls, with a frame of studs and tongue and groove panels. Just over two meters high. Blends nicely into the rooms.
Do you think it might be too bulky?

In that case, I would choose chipboard over MDF... Why? Chipboard must be cheaper. Not the best material for screwing hooks into, but...
If I could decide completely by myself, I would use plywood or OSB. Alternatively, cover with plasterboard for painting.

I'm currently working on such a wardrobe. It will be 4.5 m long with 3 double doors. Chipboard gets too rattly, and MDF doesn't hold well in the corners, so I chose 20 mm laminated boards as wall material, on a 2x3" stud frame. Screwed and glued, built like a cabinetmaker so that the paint doesn't crack over time. The boards aren't cheap, bought at K-rauta. The doors were bought ready-made, custom ordered. They cost about 9000 for 6 pieces. But it's better than being dissatisfied. I have white-painted beadboard on the ceiling, so I judged that it would be a little too stripey with paneling on the wardrobe walls as well.
