Walls of building board, questions

I'm going to start the next room, which is also made of 9 mm construction board panels. I will demolish 2 of 4 walls to insulate and install more outlets. The exterior wall with windows and a radiator will be covered with renovation wallpaper.

On the other exterior wall with textured wallpaper, I just plan to screw drywall onto it. Considering it's only 9 mm construction board, will it work or is it too flimsy?

As long as you primarily screw the plasterboard into the underlying framework, it will naturally work. There are plenty of walls in this country with nothing but plasterboard and a frame structure.

you can screw into 9mm board with drywall screws for wood such as Gipsskruv FAST Trä FZB Dimension: 3,9x30 mm, Content: 1000 pcs- 285001 (bygghemma.se)
if you're worried that it won't hold, you can apply some adhesive between the drywall and the board
but I don't think it's needed

you could possibly try screwing a piece of drywall to the wall, e.g. 10x10 cm with a screw and see how well it holds
