Wall cladding on Leca wall in the basement?
Thanks for that link, exactly what I need
You learn something new every day
Yesterday, it happened that the thoughts started shifting from plastering to actually framing the wall and putting up gypsum or chipboard :
i.e., back to square one again :-/
Throughout all the deliberation, the better half has wanted framed walls for various reasons, but she has said that I get to decide. She only finds advantages with framed walls and I only find advantages with plastered walls. Typical woman to say one thing and mean something else
Anyway, after some calculations, I came to the conclusion that plaster for the entire room would cost around 1500 SEK (1 cm thick).
The calculation also showed that the alternative, wooden frame (with tar paper behind) and some type of board, would cost about 2000 SEK (screws and nails not included).
Conclusion:
The price difference doesn't justify either option
The work effort would probably be lower if choosing to frame the wall.
The partner will probably be happier (without admitting it) if there are boards on the walls. It might also be good for negotiation in the upcoming garage construction if she gets to decide now
;D
Right now, it seems like framing the wall is the way to go, even though I have to give in eventually

HELLO!
How would it work to attach plasterboards directly to the leca? using adhesive, plaster or something similar as an attachment, i.e., without studs behind. Then the leca can be shaped as it wants and cable pipes etc. can be chiseled into the leca and just covered with plasterboards.

Well, maybe ???
The point of the reglarna would be to ventilate the wall behind the boards. So I don't want the boards to be laid directly against the wall and risk any moisture creeping into the boards.
The wall will then be ventilated both at the top and the bottom.
