It depends on whether a wall section is, say, 4800mm long as the top plate and the sill are of that length, I would have 3 wall supports if it is freestanding. If it is a corner, two wall supports are needed if the corner is braced.N Nygge72 said:

We always place them at the joints of the ridge beam and about 2400mm in addition, except for corners which are braced diagonally with boards/lathing going entirely from the base plate to the ridge beam and nailed into these as well as into each post...N Nygge72 said:
