What is the best way to install vertical paneling on a house gable?
The house has drip edge and then the remaining panel underneath.
It seems difficult to measure and get them to the exact length against the roof sheathing on the rafters. Is there a trick?

There are really only two ways, right? Either you make the panel pieces too long and saw them at the bottom after you've put them in place. (1-3 cm maybe, so they don't touch the drip edge) Or you make them approximately the right length and put a trim in the angle between the panel/rough boards. I would have chosen the first option.
