Vapor barrier?

We are renovating a house and have found black mold on the drywall on the gable side, so we have removed all the drywall on that side. The drywall was old and covered in aluminum foil, which was once a common moisture barrier, if I understand correctly. These are not available anymore, so the question now is: what do you do? Vapor barrier over the entire wall? There is hardly 15cm of insulation in the wall, if that can affect the equation.

There was a water leak before, around the window. It was fixed by the previous owner.

Do you have vapor barriers/plastic in the other walls or the same old ones as before? I would opt for a vapor retarder if there aren't vapor barriers everywhere from before.

Same old method as before. I don't want to replace drywall unless needed.
