The municipality is going to resurface the street outside my driveway. On the driveway, I have diabase 8-16, and until today I haven't been concerned about the transition from the asphalt since it has been in such poor condition. My question is, how would you create the transition from the diabase to the asphalt? Should I let them pave and rake the gravel to the edge and hope it holds, or what should I do? Suggestions/tips and preferably pictures are welcome!

The nicest would be to place curbstones against the asphalt in my opinion. Of course, it depends a bit on how it looks otherwise around the gravel area.
Maybe you can upload a picture?
