Tools for cutting tongue and groove paneling?
I will mount the panel vertically. Each panel is 60 cm wide and 245 cm long. Since the wall where I will install the panel is 115 cm wide, I need to cut one panel (lengthwise, as I call it) so that it becomes 55 cm wide.cecar33 said:
Hope that was clear
A handsaw might not be a bad suggestion either. It's easy to think of electric tools when something needs to be crafted.
Now I understand the question better. When you wrote "kapa pärlsoontpanel" I thought you meant you were going to saw off regular beaded panel boards to make them the right length. But if what you were really going to do was rip an MDF board into 55+5cm, then a circular saw with a guide is great.
But as I said, if it's a single panel that needs to be ripped and you have to look for your guide, it might be faster with a hand saw anyway.
