Hello

I'm working on my new build that is set to start this year, and I plan to share it.

Two questions

- Is a vapor barrier between floors necessary?

From the outside to the roof
Råspont-Luftspalt BEWI 50 mm-Insulation 220 cm-Regla 45/45 replace with 5 cm air gap-Vapor barrier.

The insulation protrudes by 50 mm. Is it okay to secure the insulation with rope/band, or should one use a 45 mm stud?

The placement of the vapor barrier and insulation looks a bit odd, should it be heated all the way up to the ridge?

Answer: No, the attic will not be heated but I'm getting the insulation dirt cheap. I'm going to install a kitchen fan and FTX in the attic.

Shouldn't the vapor barrier be placed more like the red line and the insulation like the yellow marking? I might have misunderstood how you intend to use the space. Someone else can probably help you better than I can.

Building with Ytong so I don't need the walls. I just want to know if it works. Or should you have the vapor barrier as soon as possible and insulate all the way up. I want a warm attic, not a cold one.
