We have an old house where we want to install old-fashioned downpipes with sharp angles and cone-shaped wall brackets. Preferably naturally metallic gray that doesn't need painting.

Which material is best & why?
Titanium zinc? Zinc magnesium? Other?

If we can't find a local tinsmith to make them from scratch, which brand of prefabricated is recommended? Lindab? Plannja? Rheinzink?

Thanks for all the tips!

Best I don't know. I only have experience with Rheinzink Titanzink, which I chose because it has superior longevity (no corrosion) and ages to a nice, dark gray shade.

By the way, I bought the parts from RZ and installed the drainage myself. No soldering, used their adhesive. Turned out very well.
