Otherwise, these or similar ones will work.

Funny that you mention them, just now, because earlier today I was walking around Byggmax looking at similar strips and wondering how I could use them. So they're on my mind! :) Thanks for the tip.

Why make it so difficult if you are going to drain in the near future anyway? Buy OSB boards that you paint in any color and attach to the wall. Once you have drained, take them down and throw away the crap.

That's how the thoughts are going now, to do as I say. I don't see it as a big project; it's easily done. Painted OSB board is all well and good, but regardless of what you put up, if it stays, it will unnecessarily trap moisture. Or not completely trap it, since it would be open around it even in that example, but it would definitely be more humid behind the board than with my idea. I simply want to be able to remove the "wall" for total free ventilation. Should I, against the odds, do something that stays in place, it won't be a whole board, but more like a radiator cover or similar, so that air can pass not only under-behind-over but also right through.

As for the drainage, it would have been preferable to do it last year, but reality unfortunately tells me that it might neither happen next year nor the year after that. My temporary solution might therefore become a relatively long-term temporary...

Another thought might be relevant in your case, there are ventilated wall systems that are preferably left in place after drainage, then you have double security.

Best regards, P-A

Haha. I have the problem myself that my temporary solutions tend to become quite permanent. Otherwise, there are furniture tubes in all sorts of different dimensions that you can use as beams.
