I have purchased most of my lumber at Lissma Såg. The quality of the lumber is just like the service, top-notch.

The transportation cost at Lissma is distance-dependent but also a matter of negotiation....

Yep, I took from AKB.
Very good quality - I am very satisfied.

I talked with AKB this morning because I need timber in large quantities.

However, I refuse to fill the entire yard with wood just to get a bulk discount on a large purchase. It simply doesn't work to store 50 OSB and just as many plasterboards..... At Lissma sawmill, it worked perfectly to shop with a discount based on an estimated volume, but at AKB it was a complete no-go. >:(

In other words, AKB can take it up the back. Or the front if that suits better.

Did you get the same price at Lissma then?
Yes, I was just there and picked up what I needed, better price than AKB.

It turned out great!
Yes, a ;D on my face all day. Moreover, I've been outdoors tearing down ETERNIT, my favorite material, in the sunshine this afternoon. Could it get any better? 8)

Sometimes life plays. It's not just anyone who gets spring feelings from eternit... ;)

The slightly sad part is that we now only have half a gable left with eternit. Yes, a little bit is of course still left on the ceiling in the laundry room....

Maybe I should save a couple of bends with ventilation pipes made of eternit in the attic, to maintain the cozy feeling.

Are you getting nostalgic? ;)

Yes, now all the eternit is actually gone from the facade. Just have a little left in the laundry room.

Maybe we should arrange a small eternit monument that will outlive all of us....:)

If you make an asbestos museum, with some fibers flying around the room, the museum won't need to be open for very long to outlive us all ;)

Charlie, did you get good lumber...? :)

I'm building the whole museum out of asbestos. It will survive the next world war.

What is delivered is usually very fresh and newly printed. Place a press over them so the planks do not dry in the sun.

They can warp, and the width can vary - you will notice this when you place them end to end when joining.
