Is it possible to remove the existing one without damaging the sides?

Doesn't seem to be a problem.

The budget version:
Find a window sill in stone with the right depth on Blocket or Marketplace for 200 SEK.
Cut it to the right length and glue it onto the existing surface.
Caulk. Done!

Haha that sounds like a solution in my style.
Do you know if there is any picture of a similar solution? I wonder how it looks since the edge of the existing board is visible if it isn't removed...

Don't you think? Crowbar or?

I think the stone slab might be able to stick out a couple of cm, which would hide it quite well.
But on the other hand, it shouldn’t be too difficult to remove the existing slab either.
Multisaw (fine saw), chisel, and hammer should be useful tools.

Hello
Does anyone know how to renovate a window recess?
1. Restore the original
2. Tile
Did you get them loose, is it crowbar, breaker knife or how are they attached?
Regards
