After applying grout, how long should I wait before washing off the grout?

After 15-20 minutes, it's appropriate to wipe for the first time. Take a damp sponge and wipe so the joints become appropriately deep/full, and tidy them up properly. Then it's not so critical, but after a couple of hours, you can then wash it.

You should not wait at all. You should wipe off grout from the tiles and diagonally across the joints with a sponge immediately. When you can't remove more from the tiles with the sponge, you rub the tiles clean with a dry cloth.

Okay, thanks for the answer. It happened that some joints became darker; is it because they haven't had time to dry as quickly, or how do you fix that?

It probably just dried more in certain places, or it could also be the light/side light that is deceiving the eye. Wait a day first, and see if it disappears.

Then when you say wash it, is it the same procedure? About 12 hours after?
