I hope to soon (hopefully) start my own Thermomur construction, and there are a few things I'm wondering about.
How do you attach the blocks to the slab? I got a tip from someone who has built several houses both with Thermomur and other similar elements to attach an angle profile to the slab, and then screw the bottom blocks into it, as in my illustration:
What I'm a bit unsure about is the level difference that occurs between the sides of the blocks, but maybe you can compensate for it by placing some bottom plate paper under the outer side, or gluing with some cell plastic glue.
How have you done it? I'm considering setting the first course in place and then pouring a bit of concrete by hand to ensure the whole thing doesn't lift when you actually cast the rest of the wall. It takes extra time, but time is something we DIYers can afford sometimes.
The other thing I'm a bit unsure about is what to do at the windows. I have found two different versions of the installation instructions where they state different things. The difference is whether there should be a "splay list" in cell plastic at the bottom of the window or not. How have you done that? Does anyone have a picture maybe?
