Put together some decking for the wood to lie on top of a couple of paving stones. It will need to extend along the entire length of the façade. I was thinking of building sparse short "walls"/supports on the sides, and a simple roof with something like panel boards. How would you design this? I'm considering a simple ground screw, or a ready-made concrete cylinder with post shoe to dig down. And something like 70x70mm posts spaced a couple of meters apart for the roof to rest on, and the "walls" to be attached to. And screw similar posts directly into the panel for the roof to rest on? There's no snow load to speak of here. Or how would you have done it?
Concrete slabs directly on the ground should suffice. Then you can have impregnated joists directly on the slabs, with a piece of roofing felt or similar between the concrete and the joist.
Regardless of how you build the walls, you should ensure there is a gap of a few centimeters between the wood and the garage wall so that no moisture is trapped and causes rot in the panel.
The space against the wall, I think, will be sufficient regardless since there is lockläkt on the panel that creates an air gap? Or do you think more is needed?
Regarding the construction, you can probably use 45x45 for everything except the roof. It's only load straight down, and the wall provides good protection against the wind.
2 or 3 45x95 at the bottom where the firewood sits and the standing studs screwed in should work well. And maybe secure everything high up on the wall so that the structure stays put instead of risking toppling over.
