I'm going to put up boards against a concrete wall, and the walls might be a bit prone to moisture. I don't want to take up too much valuable cm, and I'm wondering if there are stainless steel studs that are thinner than the traditional 45mm?
why stainless? if it's so humid that it is needed, you should wait with the walls and drain the house instead.
ordinary steel is enough, you can install ceiling profiles. install profiles but with some sort of intermediary layer. http://www.gyproc.se/produkter/stålprofiler/undertaksprofiler/sekundär+takprofil

Maybe some hat profile might work. They are usually found in hardware stores next to steel studs.
