Hi, I am renovating a couple of rooms in a 40s villa, the wall currently consists of plaster, plank frame, air, plank frame, tretex.

My question is, is there any board that has good insulation ability that can be installed before the drywall?

I want to extend the wall by a maximum of 2-3cm as the radiator pipes, etc., would otherwise be too tight.

Best regards

Check out kingspan. They have incredibly good insulation values, so it actually makes a difference for your 3cm. However, it is priced accordingly.
