Built a small friggebod last fall. Insulated it but now notice that the wood is shrinking on the inside and there are gaps everywhere. How do you others who build with wood handle when the wood shrinks?!
Wooden ceiling with visible gaps between planks in a small shed, illustrating wood shrinkage issues.

This is completely natural. In August/September, the humidity is the highest and all wood swells. In winter, it dries out and shrinks. 1. You cannot do anything. 2. The window trim seems to aim for conveying an old style, and then it fits in well.

Use plasterboards, MDF, or similar "dead" material.

If you build during the wet season, you can put the boards in the garden shed and place a simple dehumidifier there for a couple of weeks. You won't solve all the world's problems, but you'll avoid the worst gaps. Though that advice may not be worth much now, unless building garden sheds has become your new hobby.
