The problem is that you don't seem to understand that calling someone "gubbe" is rude. Words are tied to their context and the fact that you don't understand that the word is derogatory is sad. Good manners include describing people in a respectful way.
Oh, come on, are you getting proxy-offended? It's an anonymous person. I haven't called anyone "gubbe" in the forum. Call a spade a spade. If you're 74, you're definitely a "gubbe." Talk about dissecting a thread to molecules. Read my question in its context.

Page after page, you have received consistent and relevant advice. Only after you repeatedly mocked your own excellence and our irrelevant answers did a few get a bit sour. Despite that, we continued to give advice. If you don't "listen" to the overwhelming majority's advice, it's not because you can't. It's because you don't want to!

Staffan, read my responses. I agreed with "you" about 10 pages ago. I have received many good responses that I have addressed very respectfully.

I have now adopted a more sarcastic tone because I'm tired of everyone just complaining. Having a different opinion on the subject is not a bad tone; it is a healthy part of a conversation. I have never said that I am excellent, but I stick to the subject and do not resort to personal attacks; in that regard, I am excellent. You, however, have not behaved badly, I want to emphasize. We may have different opinions on the risks of asbestos, but that's another matter.

Bringing in public health issues IS irrelevant to the question I asked. That doesn't mean it's wrong. If I had asked the question like this: Should I worry more about asbestos exposure than the sugar in our food? Then the public health aspect would have been relevant. Several things can be dangerous at the same time.

D
Dad showed me and my brother that it made a big bang when you threw asbestos into the fire when we were little. We had half a pallet standing in the yard. It was emptied quickly thereafter. I haven't died yet from silicosis or anything else as far as I know.

Being an old lady/man has nothing to do with age.

For a child, a person in their 40s-50s can be considered an old lady/man, for someone in their 40s, a 65-year-old can be an old lady/man.

Wonder if the OP has been in Corona quarantine for too long and is experiencing boredom and a lack of debate :)

Should we really enter into that discussion too? I don't think so.

Through your contemptuous expression "gubbe," you reveal a lot about yourself to others. Like that you are a contemptuous teenager, wt, hopefully not a parent, and that your parents are under 40 years old. A normal parent thinks about toxins in the local environment. Flame retardants that cause a lot of diseases, toxins in skin and hair care products, etc. You can't even spell. "Dissect" what is that? You demand that a lot of adults answer you repeatedly, but you have started the same thread before. A report of concern regarding your potential parenthood is what you could get here. And it doesn't depend on whether you eat asbestos for breakfast.

Oh dear! You've really stepped on a mine there :) It might be wise to check things out before attacking, then you can avoid the embarrassment of being caught by your own words! http://www.saob.se/artikel/?unik=D_1475-0187.7qvn

None of your beautiful descriptions of me are accurate and are probably more a reflection of yourself.

This is probably what they were waiting for. The thread was never about asbestos but a troll waiting for an attack ;)

I reported it too, of course. Strange that it was allowed to last this long actually.
18 pages now, that's a lot.

HAHAHA! You're probably right about that, Nyfniken. Sorry if I got a bit trollish, but I couldn't resist smashing that ball.

After reading the titles of all the other asbestos threads that the OP has created, I would recommend either moving or building new. It must be tricky to be so terrified of asbestos and at the same time have eternit facade, ventilation pipes, boards in barns, roof, probably pipe insulation, etc. It's a bit like being electricity allergic and living at Ringhals. In a newly built house, you avoid that, but then the formaldehyde threads will probably come instead :)

It's you who are mocking and are really nasty. You don't say what's in the bold line, that's rude!

The guy just asked a simple question!
