We have help from a guy who is building a carport at our place. Yesterday, I checked the diagonal measurements and noticed that there's a difference of a couple of decimeters roughly between the two measurements. Six plinths are in place, three on each side. Both sides are parallel.

Do we need to dig up the plinths and move them, or are there any other tips? What effects does this skew have?

I need arguments to convince the builder that I, as a woman, am right that he built it wrong.

At first, I thought you wrote centimeters, but decimeters are quite a lot, and it might show that the short side is skewed. And it might be noticeable on the roof. Are you going to have a post on each plinth? If so, you can't readjust the measurements afterward. You could go out and kick down one of the corner plinths and blame it on vandals and say that when he makes the new one, to set it right :D. You should get what you pay for and have agreed upon. You might need to be a bit tactful when you mention it to him.

Best regards, Putte

Thanks for the tip, the vandal has been around and all three bases with poles need to be moved. The news was received quite well. ;D
