Hello!
I'm going to build two walls in my living room to section off a corner and make it a bedroom. I want it like this, but if I sell, the new owners might want to take down the walls. My question is: How can I attach my walls best to the floor and ceiling to cause the least damage? Thanks in advance.

Hello!
If you put the wall studs under a bit of tension, you just need to find a few suitable screw mountings up towards the ceiling. Under the stud placed on the floor, you put wide rubber strips that hold it in place from the pressure.
If the walls are to be built together at an angle, they will also support each other.

if you set it in tension, you don't really need to screw it anywhere. If you use metal tracks at the top and bottom, you can have two rows of sealing strips against the ceiling and floor. This creates friction that prevents it from moving later.

Thank you for your responses. I feel a bit calmer now. Tomorrow the construction starts!
