Telescopic rail, idea? TV solution.
Hello!
I have a "big" problem. I've built my TV into the wall and in front, I plan to have a painting that I can slide to the side when I want to watch TV. And slide it back when I don't want to see the TV. Either manually or electrically driven.
My idea was to use telescopic rails like the ones used for kitchen drawers to slide the painting to the side. The rail needs to slide at least 90 cm to the side to open up for the TV. Unfortunately, it's not so easy to find rails that can slide that far to the side; they become very bulky and expensive. I checked on Theofils. Two rails for 1900sek. No thank you.
I hope you can help me with some new ideas; I don't want to put a nail above the TV and hang the painting on it
