Tealights, glue, and heat resistance

Hello!

I am wondering what the temperature is 7 - 10 cm diagonally above a tealight?

I have a glue that withstands temperatures up to +70°C. So what will happen if I glue with it 7-10 cm above and 3.5 - 5 cm diagonally above a tealight?

Glue: 24 h epoxy
Material to be glued: Glass

I suspect that this will NOT work. I brought up the heat resistance with the person who owns the glue, and he was also a bit surprised. He thought that generally, epoxy withstands up to 170°C and tasked me with finding an epoxy with the same specifications as ours, but more heat-resistant.

We currently have:

Casco Strong Epoxy Professional 2801

For bonding, for example, metal, several hard plastics, porcelain, concrete, GLASS, stone material. It is WATER-RESISTANT, however, the glue should not be used if the joint will be permanently exposed to water. THE GLUE JOINT WITHSTANDS TEMPERATURES UP TO +70°C The glue joint becomes LIGHT YELLOW. Can be painted over.

The wishes are: Higher heat resistance. The glued glass must withstand dishwasher and hand washing! A transparent glue joint would be good, but it's not a requirement. Preferably something easy to find, like Casco or Loctite.

Call Casco or Loctite, they have experts.

Regarding the temperature, measure with a thermometer.

Thank you for your response. They have now said they don't have anything suitable.

I'm considering water glass, sodium silicate.
Could that work?
