From the original drawing of the building (turn-of-the-century property), it is understood that there was once an extra door to the hall that was later sealed. After conducting a small investigation with the drill, I have determined that they probably removed the frames, sealed it with leca/lightweight concrete blocks or similar, and then plastered it with some type of plaster that is significantly harder than the lime plaster from the turn of the century with which the rest of the wall is plastered.
Now the obvious question is how to remove the filling in the best way. Simply chiseling off the plaster seems quite troublesome considering it appears to be quite secure... Ideas and suggestions are welcome!

If it is Lecablock, you should be able to chip away the plaster on top, considering the blocks are quite porous. I think that's the easiest option, to knock off the plaster that is. A reciprocating saw is an option. Another is an angle grinder with a stone blade. It creates a lot of dust, but if you cover yourself in plastic, it might work. Hope you find a nice old framework door beneath it all. Good luck!
The method I used after some consideration was - like so many other things - to do it by hand. I sawed with a handsaw (intended for lecablock and similar) all around. It was insanely hard to get through the cement plaster in that way, and I felt I had to knock on and apologize to the neighbors as a precaution. When I had sawed down about a meter on the sides, it was just a matter of hitting it a couple of times with a sledgehammer so the plaster cracked and I got a block of manageable size to take down. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the sides... Mirrors and thresholds that I assume had been there were removed. It doesn't really matter though since the space is now a cleaning closet with a frame mounted in the hole I sawed open.
