I'm planning to have a panelled board in a sauna and I'm considering good solutions for the surface. Two options I'm contemplating so far:

1. Painting with regular wall paint after using primer. Does anyone have tips on the best approach and brand of primer to ensure the paint doesn't peel? Problems with adhesion seem common.

2. Tiles after using primer. Regular tile adhesive as bonding material. Does anyone have tips and experiences here?

If anyone knows where to buy a board that is 210 cm long, feel free to share as well.

Thanks

Why not mineral paint or similar that suits the board material?

Thanks, interesting! Do you have experience with this? Are you thinking of painting directly without primer?

There is paint that is made for painting on that type of boards

Ok. Can you give me examples?

I only know it exists, so google it or ask in the paint store. You should avoid regular latex paint.
