Planning to widen a door in a load-bearing interior wall.

Current door opening is 90 cm but I want 120. The wall is made of Lecca. How can I tell if there's a load-bearing beam above the door opening? If there is one and it doesn't extend sufficiently, can I support it with glulam without having support posts?

The upper floor resting on the wall is built by placing floor hardboard sheets first, followed by laying load-bearing joists, which means that when I remove the ceiling on the lower floor, I only see the sheets and not the load-bearing joists. If I cut the sheets to see where the joists are, they probably won't stay up. There are tiles on the upper floor, so I don't want to go from there.

If necessary, can I bolt a glulam beam to the wall at ceiling height and have it support, or would it require supporting pillars?

hello! It's probably possible to get a 120 opening. Is it an inner wall or outer wall and how thick is the wall and is it plastered or drywall? Are there floor cassettes like prefab? It's a bit difficult when you can't see it all.
