I'm going to install decorative brick made of real stone and have framed it up properly and put up an OSB board. The decorative brick will cover about 1x3m (w x h), and the rest of the room will have OSB, plasterboard, wallpaper, and paint. I'm considering what would be most suitable behind the decorative brick for the best adhesion and robustness of the construction. It's solid decorative brick in stone material, so it weighs a bit. Is plasterboard, primer, and adhesive sufficient, or should I also put wallpaper on the plasterboard as extra reinforcement? Or should I choose a different material than plasterboard?
