... Or, are there really any stupid questions?

To the question anyway;

I'm going to start laying tiles on the floor in the pantry, my first attempt at such a project. I bought nice tiles at K-rauta, 10x10 tiles that are glued together in groups of 4. Should I remove the glue blobs from the tiles and place the tiles individually, or can I place the sheets as a whole? Will it be a problem when grouting if the glue blobs remain?

It doesn't really matter that my brother is a tiler, I want to do this myself, preferably without eighty-eleven phone calls to big brother :) I'm pretty clear on the rest of the process; the agreement with my wife is that I get to practice in our dark, cold pantry before bigger and more sensitive projects in the future...

They should be attached to the sheets, it's easier that way. Only remove them if you need to cut later.

thanks for the response, let's see if it will be finers or something else ;)

Sorry for the double post, but what about the primer? Do you apply it in multiple layers or is one enough? Diluted according to the package 1 part primer and 5 parts water for concrete floors, but it doesn't seem to create a surface on the concrete, is it not supposed to?

One fluent layer is enough for primer.
