We have framed 45 mm wooden studs on lightweight concrete walls and concrete brick. Took 5 inch (12.5 cm) long nails that we glued and nailed diagonally into the stud (i.e., crosswise at each other). It holds really well... so far at least. What are your experiences with this? Comments?

In my condominium, the interior walls are made of lightweight concrete. Two walls that were perpendicular to each other were joined together with two nails of about that size, so it can't be entirely wrong. I demolished one of the walls and installed a stud, then used some nails and glued the stud with PL400.
