The wall consists of aerated concrete blocks in a 70s house. Several layers of wallpaper with an ugly woven wallpaper on the outside. There are wallpaper peels. I want to install 6mm plasterboard to save work and time and get completely smooth walls. What fastening should I use?

Glue with plaster putty, but I recommend regular plaster instead of renovation plaster, they tend to become floppy and difficult to get straight.

Does it work even if there are some bubbles in the wallpaper? Or can I just cut open those and then apply the plaster? Thanks for tips about regular boards.

Thanks for the tip about regular boards. Does mortar work on painted textured wallpaper, or do I need to prime? How should I deal with air pockets behind the wallpaper? Cut them open or can they stay? There aren't that many but there are x number of layers of wallpaper.

When it comes to regular drywall, it's important to consider how it will fit around windows, doors, etc. That the wall comes out 13 mm instead of 6 can make a big difference.
