Currently planning a renovation of the living room and need advice.

I’m going to build an additional wall in front of an existing porous concrete wall. Note that it is an interior wall. Metal profiles will be used.

The wall will support a heavy bookshelf, in sections, and a 55" TV. The wall area is 5m x 2.5m.

My thinking is to use profiles with insulation in between. The profiles are built directly, without air gap, against the concrete wall at the recommended distance.

The first layer is 15 mm OSB and the second layer is plasterboard or rigidur board.

Cables for power, network, and projector will be run behind the new wall.

After that, the ceiling will be built using metal hangers, model U, profiles, and a single layer of rigidur (1.5x 1). Glued and screwed according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Is this plan right or completely off track?

Question:
1. Wall with OSB and plasterboard/rigidur or just OSB?
2. Recommended screws for double layers? OSB underneath.
3. Rigidur ceiling? 35 sqm.
Done 3 rooms with rigidur but not this large.
4. Must the wall profiles run from floor to ceiling, i.e., bare floor without laminate and bare ceiling? Or is it just better for fire safety?
5. Air gap or not in the wall?
6. What size metal profiles are recommended for this? Width.

Tips and tricks are welcome!

Why should you build a new wall?

The profiles are built directly, without an air gap, snug against the concrete wall.
Cables for electricity, network, and projector are run behind the new wall.
There will be no space for cables if the walls are "snug against" each other.

If it's just to hide the cables, there might be simpler ways to do this neatly.

Wood can carry a considerable load. A common 45x70 beam can carry several hundred kg in vertical load. I even believe that a wooden beam can carry a higher load than a metal beam of the same dimension. 300 cc 45x70 and 600 cc between cross braces, it can support a load of many tons if you distribute the load on the vertical beams.
 
Skip osbn and go for plywood. 70mm steel rule with 15 plyfa + plasterboard is enough to hang a kitchen so it should be strong enough for you too. If you want to be extra cautious, you can use reinforcement rules that are a bit sturdier.
No, you don't need to tear down the floor and ceiling as long as you get a solid fixture in the ceiling.

Thanks for the quick responses.

The studs will be flush against the wall, providing space for the cables. 70mm. The purpose is to achieve a straight and stable wall.

Metal studs will be used as I have already purchased them. But I will of course look into the reinforced studs. I had completely forgotten they exist.

The difference between OSB and plywood in terms of load-bearing capacity? I believe the plywood can almost withstand double?

Can I continue with Rigidur for the living room ceiling? (Fiber-reinforced gypsum board)
