Hello!
I would be extremely grateful if I could get help with screws, plugs, and spacers for mounting string shelves, floor panels on a concrete wall.

The manual states that it should be a 6x50mm nylon plug.
Should I buy screws that are 6mm in diameter and at least 60mm long?

How on earth does one find spacers and how do you know what size they should be?

Is it possible to use 10x50mm nylon plugs instead and should the screw be 10x60mm?
(6x50mm are hard to find and the ones available on the market are expensive).

String's customer service couldn't help me.
Thanks for that service when you've spent over 10 grand!

Thanks in advance!

In concrete, I use 6 mm screws in 8 mm plastic plugs for wall-mounted String shelves.

Thanks Fahlis!
Do you mean 8x40mm plugs?

I think I need at least 50mm because the bookshelf with floor panels is much heavier, but I'll remember the plug size for my pocket shelf. What is the diameter of the screws for those plugs?

Do you know the dimensions of the spacers for that shelf?

Last time I assembled Strinhyllor, all the fittings were included; screws, plugs, and spacers were in the package.

The spacers should be used either at the top or bottom when you're not continuing with another shelf. So measure how much the bracket on the end is bent out from the wall or how thick the wire that the end itself is made of is.

Thanks for the help!

A bit of panic about the distances as I have to assemble two of them. (I bought them a few years ago, so they've been moved several times).

Now I saw that you had written that the spacers should not be used!

The String sides, they are probably made of thick wire, and at the ends, there is a loop through which you should drive a screw.

I have some "string-like" shelves and I have mounted them with construction screws. (Example; https://www.biltema.se/bygg/fastelement/montageskruvar/montageskruv-2000018859) They have a large and flat head that covers that loop. They also come in different colors, at least black, white, and gray. If you're lucky, you might also find them with Torx slots instead of Phillips cross slots (like at Biltemas). They are easier to drive in.

The distances are needed if you are going to "stack" the shelves. The distance should keep the outer side out and should be as thick as the wire from which the side is made.
If you can't find distances, you can take some metal washers in a number so that it matches the thickness.

aren't those the ones that are really damn hard to remove when you need to take them out of the wall later? And which size of these fits into the floor rail,
