Store display EUR-pallet with wall
Hello,
I'm going to build a store display where the base/frame will consist of a EUR-pallet, and on its long side, I want to attach some form of building board to act as a wall. Then this will be painted, pimped, and decorated. It will be indoors.
Most boards are as wide as the pallet is long, and the height/length is about 2.5 m, which will be perfect.
But which material should I choose? How thick? And how should I attach the wall to the pallet so that it holds and doesn't tip over? The solution needs to be quick and simple enough for someone whose only building experience is assembling IKEA furniture.

If it is standalone, it will naturally tip over quite immediately. You need to have support or anchoring. But this is of course completely obvious. As for the choice of disc, I would choose the cheapest one.
If the pallet is not anchored, you will need substantial ballast to prevent it from tipping over. You will need to brace most of the boards on the market for that height. Will you need to move the pallet, and if so, with what types of trucks? From both the short side and the long side? How will it be decorated?
I'm not sure if it will be standalone or against an existing wall (or if it will be different in different stores), so I need to come up with a good solution for both scenarios. But if it's against a wall, it becomes simple, it can be fastened there instead/also. In the worst case, it becomes a requirement.
Once it's in place, it should not be moved.
It will be loaded with 20-30 kg, but there's no guarantee that everything will stay there all the time.
I was considering if it would be easy to weight down the pallet and mount the board afterward. Bracing it is probably too complicated.
