Hello!

My partner and I are getting married in a month, and for the wedding, we need a movable "wall" to temporarily cover a door and then be moved later in the evening to cover another door.

Constraints:
- We cannot drill in the venue
- It should look reasonably nice - think a white wall/curtain covering the door
- We want to keep this as cheap as possible, preferably under 200 SEK
- It should be possible to assemble in one or at most two hours

I got an idea to have a plasterboard standing in the middle of the floor, with two "brackets" on either side to hold it up. So, something like
1pc https://www.bauhaus.se/norgips-normal-13x900x2400mm.html
4pcs http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/60231446/

I've never worked with plaster before, so I don't know if it will hold or if it might break in the middle if it stands unsupported. If it would work with the plaster, how should I attach it to the brackets?

If you have other ideas, they are, of course, also welcome!

Update - when I thought more about this, I realized that such a construction would probably tip over if a door is opened in the venue, so it might not be completely optimal after all. If you come up with something else, please let me know.

Buy two studs 45*45 and make two Ls with a diagonal brace inside which you screw the plasterboard into.

Thanks for the response!

I think I need to ponder this a bit more. Braces and long support legs to prevent it from tipping over suddenly don't feel like a smooth and simple solution. I might have to go back to my first idea, to build a frame to hang a curtain on. Hmm.. :)

Can't you just tape up a curtain with double-sided tape on the top of the door frame?
