Staircase new construction unclear rules
Hello
I don't understand the regulations for stairs in new construction.
Does the tread depth have to be 25 cm?
Since I have a height of 3.2 and the length is 3 m
It results in a step height of 20 cm and a tread depth of 21.5
45-degree incline
Is it approved?

Step height 20 cm perfect, mine is 19.5 cm. The step depth depends on whether you are going to have a closed staircase; 25 cm is needed to ensure that your toes don't hit. Otherwise, the step might be taken too far out with the foot, and there is a risk of sliding off the step if the treading part doesn't fit well.
Okay, good to hear. The rules say I can't keep it open down there, but you can have it a bit open, not completely. But what is your step depth? And is it newly built?J jojo123 said:
An open L-staircase in an older house, on the portion with the straight section with full steps is 26 cm, the next step above extends 3 cm beyond the one below and the entire foot can be placed on the step. The enclosed type is to prevent anything from falling on someone below and to avoid a leg from entering in between during a slip or other incident, as that could end badly. If you can increase the depth, there's no obstacle to it, but it might be difficult to find a standard staircase with this, I've seen that some people attach a piece to the back of the step (screwed into the step) halfway up between the steps, then all risks are eliminated.
