Planning to renovate the stairs with a so-called ready-made stair kit. But can't find the right color. I want white-stained oak, does anyone have tips on where I can find that?
I would like it like the picture. Checked with Formtrappan who made the stairs but unfortunately, they no longer make it in this color.

Buy in untreated oak and surface treat yourself. For example, there is white-pigmented hard wax oil that is easy to apply. Cut and fit and surface treat before installation.
Use hardwax oil with anti-slip http://www.welinoco.com/produkt/osmo-hårdvaxolja-med-halkskydd We have landings that are treated with hardwax oil and it is easy to maintain, just lightly sand and apply new hardwax oil if you get a damage.
