we are going to renovate our staircase (indoor, open) and are looking for dark riser steps in wood. We prefer to use a ready-made product (such as a step-kit), but Lundbergs - which seems to have a monopoly in Sweden (?) - doesn't offer dark enough materials. Their discontinued model "Wenge" (maple) is a good benchmark for the material we are looking for.
Does anyone know of supplier(s) that can deliver something like this to Sweden (in Sweden or internationally)?

I would turn to a custom carpentry shop. There must be several of those in the Stockholm area. They usually have good contact with timber importers. The material surely requires planing and perhaps tongue and groove. Additionally, it must be dry enough for carpentry. Wengen (also called Panga-Panga, if I remember correctly) is probably one of the few alternatives that doesn't cost a fortune, like Ebenholz, for example.
