Yes, the hole saw works fine! I have a 10mm myself... Drills that make curved holes I also have... but that's another story :-)
 
spend a couple of minutes with a chisel and it's done, don't make it complicated...

there might actually be a problem if the plank is thick, or if there are many "bottenhål" you need to make ;-)

It was just one hole I needed to make and it's already done :-) It turned out a bit uneven and a millimeter too wide. But well...it's difficult to have millimeter precision when using a chisel. I'm satisfied anyway. d^_^b

That's precisely what I meant, it's important to be skilled with the chisel :-)
