Hi everyone..!!
I'm a bit irritated right now...!!
This screw, spax-m, which is meant for MDF (is supposed to make it unnecessary to pre-drill and countersink when screwing into MDF, and I think I see that it also looks that way on TV when they do just this) but it seems to be extremely difficult to get hold of this particular screw......???!!!
I find this a bit strange...this screw is used by roomservice, äntligen hemma etc...it is specified on their purchase lists when they have had a project in MDF....I thought that what is shown in the media also leaves traces in the "real" world..or??? I mean that DIY enthusiasts and even professionals should reasonably get some inquiries about projects where MDF is used and also then ALL building merchants should get questions about this, ALL (building merchants) I have spoken to where I live (Örebro, so there are a large bunch...!!) say that they sell quite a lot of MDF nowadays....then I immediately pointed out that maybe it would be time to also have suitable screws for this, but apparently not...some have said that maybe we would add it to our assortment, while others seem completely :x in the head and totally uninterested.....???

What I wonder is if this screw is as good as it seems, or is it equivalent to a lot of other screws, since it cannot be purchased anywhere within a 10-mile radius...very strange I think.....!!! It is not that it was invented yesterday, has been around for a few years......

None of you have tested this screw...??
It would be interesting to hear some opinions about it....!!!

The only thing I know is that bauhaus sells SPAX... they should also have SPAX-M??

Not here in Örebro, have talked to them....

Ok. Bauhaus Järfälla has almost exclusively Spax. Check the webshop or ask them to order internally between stores.
