With all due respect, isn't it better to adapt the wardrobe to the space rather than the other way around? If you absolutely must have that specific wardrobe, wouldn't it be better to cut it down in height instead? :)

that might be! :)
But I would rather not cut.
So if I can go with 21mm in the gaps, it should work :)

To conclude my thread, I'm glad I went with 21x170!
It resulted in only needing to cut the wardrobes by 5mm!!
Otherwise, I would have needed to cut 13mm..
White wardrobes in a bedroom with blue walls and wooden flooring, recently fitted with minimal cutting required.

So now they're in place!
And tonight will be the first night we sleep in the bedroom in a month..
