Sparse with 21x70 instead of 28x70?
As mentioned, no problem taking 10 mm off the base.A amoreex said:That could also be the case..
I think it’ll be done like this.
I will space with 21 instead according to justus's answer.
Then hope it works. Otherwise cut off 1cm from the base as a last resort.
Would you have removed the plastic mat I have at the bottom today?
It's glued onto chipboard... it feels like it could tear off pieces of the chipboard and just create more work?
Is it a lot of work for just gaining 3mm?
I have a vague memory of shimming wardrobes, but I'm not sure. Feels like a problem you solve if it becomes relevant.

If you're not going to run electrical wiring, you could put plywood on the ceiling instead.
But as someone mentioned, you can cut off the bottom, it's not unusual to do so. I have the same ones in the closet but without doors. The most important thing is that the doors can open.
I've also assembled them standing up, it works well if there are 2 of you.

Are you going to install battens with adjustment screws so that the ceiling becomes straight, or is it already straight? The existing ceiling is slightly crooked, and in that case, the entire ceiling needs to be adjusted to the lowest point.
Or you don't worry about it, and it will probably turn out great anyway.

no electricity will be run at the moment. But I still want it to be open so the possibility exists.Johannes Carlsson said:

But plywood will cost around 1300kr...
So it might be an option if Justus thinks it's sufficient and doesn't become even heavier.
In that case, the ceiling height will be significantly better with 238...

I will measure the ceiling in a couple of places so I know for sure.O OskarL said:
That could be an option, as I bought a router 2 weeks ago.Ymer said:
However, there will be a little tension on the plastic, but it should work..
then you can rout away 7mm.. so it's the same as a 21mm.
