Marge: Now our floor is laid & we have moved in & had time to try it out. We are super pleased! Absolutely delightful to walk on, it's warm & no problem to keep clean.
Then there are no marks visible after our son throws his toys around.
The only downside is that we have the whitewashed floor so everything shows on it. So we vacuum every day. To our son's delight :D :D The vacuum cleaner is his best friend!

Sara -> So great to hear you're happy!! :D
Did you put MaxFura everywhere or? and does it still feel soft and nice? (it's "rougher" on the surface because it’s brushed). We’re a bit worried that the floor might feel "coarse" to walk on if you use MaxFura everywhere, so we’ve been considering only using it in the kitchen and hall and then having regular pine in the bedrooms and living room. But if MaxFura feels as good as you say, we could just as well lay it everywhere! ;D

We have it in the living room, kitchen & half the hallway. In the bedrooms, we have Kärhs Linneagolv. That floor feels like a plastic mat in comparison. So if we could have afforded it, we would have laid MaxFuru throughout the entire house :'(

Hello,

I have MaxFura in the kitchen. It works well - but I listened too much to the seller and bought 14mm.

Never buy a plank floor thinner than 21mm!! There will be gaps, and if you drive the screw even slightly crooked, you can see the entry holes between the boards if you look closely. A possible refinishing will also make these entry holes even more visible.

An oiled floor becomes harder on the surface, as the oil crystallizes in the pores and becomes hard, thereby making it more durable. I don't think you need to oil it that often afterwards...
