I've plastered a lightweight concrete wall that needed reinforcement, but it needs to be "leveled" once more as it became uneven. Fixed screed guides with mortar that I leveled with a laser, vertically & horizontally. Realized I wouldn't be able to plaster the whole wall before this set, so I left it to harden. I thought of doing the actual leveling plastering in a second step, and then I can take down the guides after that + then fill after them. What do you think, is this reasonable or will it just be chaotic? Should I tear this down and try to do everything in one go? Feels overwhelming considering how tricky it was to level them straight.

  • Concrete wall with leveling guides and a laser for alignment, unfinished surface, construction light overhead, ladder on the side.
  • Close-up of a plastered aerated concrete wall with a metal screed, aligned using a laser level, showing uneven texture and fixing points.
