Planning to build my own sliding doors and came up with the idea of using pärslpont panel board. I'm thinking of a frame in 21mm MDF, maybe 80mm wide. Then rout a groove that the panel board sits in (loosely to prevent the door from warping).
What do you think of this construction? It will be 3 doors about 800mm wide and 2400mm high.
Anyone got tips on convenient sliding door fittings? I want a pretty neat and thin construction.

Built our own sliding door for the walk-in closet, bought MDF board and sliding door fixtures at Bauhaus. It was a universal fixture.
