I'm planning to purchase wall panels, but I'm unsure about which height to choose...
I have 245 from the subfloor to the ceiling beams (whatever they are called)...
But then there are the studs and the ceiling... the gypsum is 13mm... but if I think a bit lazily, I could measure from the ceiling box, it's about 4.5cm high...
245 - 4.5cm... okay, then it's pretty much clear that 240 would be just right.
But it's trickier with the panels for the outer walls, they extend a bit below the subfloor, say 246...
But I don't know, should I buy 250 panels and cut them, or 240 and maybe not install them all the way down to the floor?

Hello again.
We previously had a little discussion about whether you should do the wall or ceiling first.
I did recommend the ceiling first.
Now that you've come as far as you have, think about which is easiest as you stand in the construction.
If you nail the ceiling now, you can just push the boards up against it, if you do the walls first, you'll have to cut all the ceiling boards.

It probably doesn't matter much. Trimming the bottom edge of a panel takes 3 quick seconds. You just need to lay the panel flat and run a knife along a straight edge or something similar.
But it goes faster if you don't need to trim the bottom edge.

Oki. But were you planning to have gips on the ceiling? In that case, it doesn't really matter, but even if you bring it in, you have something to stand on when you're working on the ceiling.Yrrol said:
